Surface Pro 4 , Surface Book Get Firmware Updates
The Redmond giant in Thursday released January 2016 firmware messages for both its brand-new Surface devices. The company notes the updates will offer cold weather tuning, wireless access level compatibility, and better assist for 5GHz Wi-Fi community.
Additional improvements include improved keyboard detection and security patches for Nvidia visuals cards. The description of the update confirms that Microsoft hasn't yet patched the actual battery drain and sleeping issues inside the Surface Pro 4 and also the Surface Book, and that will upset many users.
Past month, Microsoft acknowledged an issue using the Surface Pro 4 and also the Surface Book that had been preventing the devices from going to standby mode properly - this understandably, also took a toll about the battery.
