If Safari Web browser is crashing on your own iPhone, iPad, or Mac pc computer, you're certainly one of many. A bug in Safari affects several people worldwide, either by slowing down the Web browser or maybe completely crashing it.

Many users are reporting concerns when opening tabs, then when trying to type within a new address. Clicking within the address bar freezes the computer, many note. Steven Troughton-Smith, an iOS developer says the bug is related to Safari's search suggestions.

Apple is yet to acknowledge the challenge (the status page over the internet reports no issues), let alone give the reason behind this weird problem or give a patch for it just yet. In the meantime, you can try the following workarounds avoiding the issue.




Mac users can fix the challenge by following the under steps: Open Safari, and head over to Preferences. Go to Research tab, and deselect Include Search engine optimization Selections Restart Safari.

iOS users can circumvent the challenge by complying to the subsequent steps: Go to Settings app, scroll down and find Safari. Turn off the Safari Suggestions.

Alternatively, you can even try surfing the Web within the incognito mode. You can do so by looking at File, and opening a new Private Window on your own Mac or tapping within the rightmost button in the bottom strip Safari on iOS to discover the tab switcher and then tapping on Private.
